//What’s in an apple?

​There are a million ways to draw an apple, and approximately a million more ways how not to draw an apple. Through guided vision and drawing exercises, artist and illustrator Ross Carvill will help students reconnect with their imagination and tap into the potential of drawing to help us see the world more creatively.

​This workshop is for anyone curious about reconnecting with drawing and their innate, childhood creativity—no matter if you’ve been drawing for 10 years or 10 days.

​I am an Irish illustrator living in Brooklyn! I grew up surrounded by nature at the bottom of a mountain. This instilled in me a passion for creatures from this world and beyond our world. My work is bold, colourful, often surreal, and aims to brighten up this grey world. If I can bring colour into one person’s day or make one person smile with my work, then it has been successful!
