Join visual artist Jessica Nguyen for Seeing Slowly, a hands-on workshop about painting from observation. Learn how to see with fresh eyes—how to sketch and compose from life, mix colors that feel true, and paint with intuition and confidence.

Jessica will begin with a live painting demo and discussion of her process, then guide you through your own painting session using a large, table-length still life installation. The workshop wraps up with time to share work and take part in an optional group critique.

This class is open to artists with beginner or intermediate experience—anyone interested in slowing down, observing closely, and discovering their own way of painting from life.
