Alexander Heinrici (b.1945, vienna) was one of the most influential printers of the 20th century. He operated his renowned studio out of what is now telos.haus, where he collaborated with artistic including Andy Warhol, Willem de Kooning, and Roy Lichtenstein. Known for his innovative silkscreen techniques and ability to translate artists’ visions with extraordinary precision, Heinrici’s prints are now held in the permanent collections of both MoMA and the Whitney Museum. His presence in this space from 2008 onwards helped establish this corner of East Williamsburg as a hub for artistic production, a legacy that telos.haus proudly continues today.
