Alexander Heinrici (b.1945, vienna) was one of the most influential printers of the 20th century. 303 Ten Eyck St, where telos.haus is located, was once Heinrici’s renowned studio, where he collaborated with artists like Andy Warhol, Willem de Kooning, and Roy Lichtenstein.
Known for his innovative silkscreen techniques and ability to translate artists’ visions with extraordinary precision, Heinrici’s prints are now held in the permanent collections of both MoMA and the Whitney Museum. His presence in this space from 2008 onwards helped establish this corner of East Williamsburg as a hub for artistic production, a legacy that telos.haus proudly continues today.
