telos.haus
hey, welcome to telos.haus. we're a studio space and event venue located on the second floor of an old warehouse in east williamsburg. below you'll find a bit about us.
our name combines the ancient Greek concept of telos, meaning 'end' or 'goal,' with Bauhaus, a German art school recognized for its attention to craft. We believe that by unifying how we do things with why we do them, we can create the relationships, community, and world we most want to see.
In the past, our warehouse was occupied by Alexander Heinrici, who was the trusted screenprinter of Warhol, de Kooning, and Rauschenberg, among others. We still get his mail.
Presently, we offer workspace for artists, technologists, and other professionals. in the evenings and on weekends, our space is a hub for many community gatherings and events. we are inspired by places like Dia Beacon, De School Amsterdam, Index Space, are.na, and Komune, among others.
In the future, we dream of mindfully expanding our reach through merch, editorial projects, additional spaces, cute collabs, international partnerships, and more.
you can get involved by attending an event, joining us for coworking, or booking our space for a private event. we're also currently hiring.
coworking memberships
our coworking space features monitors, private desks, shared work tables, a full kitchen, enormous roof, and a phone booth for calls. coworking hours are monday through Friday, 9am to 6pm.
we currently have two membership tiers:
dedicated desk members get their own personal desk. a monitor and office chair are also provided. desks are $500/mo. sign up for a desk here.
Casual members can spread out at our large work tables, as well as unclaimed standing desks. casual memberships are $200/mo. sign up here.
all members get 50% off events, complimentary day passes, access to our quarterly town hall, priority use of the space for events, and many more perks.

space
our studio is located in East Williamsburg, just minutes from Grand Street station. our floorplan comprises a large indoor coworking and lounge area and a 2000 square foot terrace.
We are lucky to share the neighborhood with many friends, such as Amant, Hex House, and member-favorite lunch spot A-Pou's Taste. Here is a map view of some of our favorite places around.
telos.haus is located up one flight of stairs and is not ADA-accessible.
