telos.haus
Welcome to telos.haus! We’re a shared studio, event venue, and community space where curious people gather and play.
Our name combines the ancient Greek concept of telos, meaning ‘end’ or ‘goal,’ with Bauhaus, a German art school recognized for its attention to craft. We believe that by unifying how we do things with why we do them, we can create the relationships, community, and world we most want to see.
place
telos.haus is located in East Williamsburg, just minutes from Grand Street station. Our warehouse space was once occupied by Alexander Heinrici, trusted screenprinter to Andy Warhol.
Continuing this artistic legacy, we offer shared, daytime workspace for artists, technologists, and creatives. In the evening and on weekends, our space transforms into a multipurpose event venue.
We are lucky to share the neighborhood with many friends, such as Amant, Hex House, and A-Pou’s Taste. Here’s a map view of some of our friends.
telos.haus is located up one flight of stairs and is unfortunately not an ADA-accessible space.
