To celebrate the last week of fundraising for our film, the SEPPUKU IN THE PARK team is throwing a party to propel us closer to our greenlight. A lineup of local DJs will be crafting the soundtrack for the night, so bring your besties or make some new friends while helping us bring our film to life. There will be a $15 minimum donation at the door, as well as merchandise and goodies for sale. All proceeds will be going toward our film <3

SEPPUKU IN THE PARK is an upcoming dark comedy short film infused with elements of a psychological thriller. This surreal voyage follows an unraveling insurance commercial actor, who is desperate to shed his familiar character and pivot his career toward film. Led by a cast and crew of Asian American creatives in New York, SEPPUKU IN THE PARK aims to amplify AAPI narratives beyond the more typical scope of dramatic identity exploration. At its core, it’s a story about the obsession of chasing a dream that feels just out of reach. We begin our production this April with a budget solely backed by friends, family, and our independent filmmaking and AAPI communities.
