​How can we deploy AI while retaining our artistic agency?

​In this one-of-a-kind workshop led by Yiou Wang of creative studio Mixanthropy, participants will learn the tools, workflows, and secrets of creating audio-reactive visuals in TouchDesigner using StreamDiffusion.

​Each student will complete a mini-project and come away with an understanding of the different parameters they can control to create stylized, personal, and visually appealing “liquid” paintings.

​//Meet Yiou Wang

​Yiou Wang is a multimedia artist, scenographer, and creative technologist whose practice focuses on storytelling and worldbuilding across the physical and virtual realms. She is also the co-founder and creative director at Mixanthropy Studio, a multidisciplinary art-tech studio creating ancient-future myths using emergent technologies.

​Yiou holds a M.Arch. from Harvard University. Her works have been exhibited at institutions and festivals including SXSW, SIGGRAPH, MIT Museum, Asian Media Arts Festival, and the New Museum of Networked Art.
